Hey! I'm Duda,
A writer, poet and advocate for the arts
My name is Maria Eduarda Andára Fagundes, I'm 20 years old and I'm a teacher and writer from Estância Velha, RS. I have always been passionate about writing, even before I learned to read, my body was already telling stories. My love for poetry came a little later, but it was love at first sight, from the moment I wrote my first shy verses, I was sure that it had become part of me.
My first publication was in the anthology “Multiverso”, together with the creative writing group in partnership with the Shirley Fleck Center, from Novo Hamburgo, RS. In 2019, I independently published my first book of authorial poetry, The ocean that exists in us. What I saw from the window, published in 2020 by Editora Viseu, is my second book.
Writing has been part of me all my life, it is the kaleidoscope that allows me to see beauty, sweetness, and hope in the world, and also the mirror that allows me to find poetry in myself.
This space was created with the aim of helping people like me, who feel they have something to say with their art, to find the means and free themselves from their limitations. This is a space for valuing art in all its forms because poetry is everything that happens out there, I just went there and put it on paper.
Welcome to my little virtual space, I hope that together we can transform it into a true gallery celebrating art.
